The modern parent is faced with greater difficulties than ever in maintaining vigilance over the security and wellbeing of their children.

Anti-social behaviour, violence, illicit drug taking, tobacco and alcohol abuse, pornography, child sexual exploitation and 'hoon' driving are without doubt great challenges faced today by children, parents and society in general.

The internet, while a great learning tool, only serves to enhance the concerns of parents such as those related to cyber bullying and exploitation by sexual predators.

Parents obviously need to allow their children space and a certain level of trust, but how do they do that and allay their fears when children are not at home at night, or not with the friends they already know and trust?

The ' Peace of Mind’ investigation involves field work to discreetly monitor the safety, wellbeing and security of children.

This can be confined to a single event where your client needs to know what is occurring and who their children are associating with, or across a broader time period.

Field work may typically include covert surveillance of a child's movements with regular updates to keep the cleint informed as to activities sighted, persons associated with, places visited and behaviour etc.

Children are inherently risk-takers, particularly in a social setting. In cases where the child may place themselves in a dangerous situation, you may be authorised by your client to intervene to prevent harm or report such activities to Police to minimise risk.

While this may seem intrusive, a good investigator is able to be the client's 'eyes and ears' and give them that Peace of Mind they need and deserve.
